Mr. Ng Wang Tsang, Andy is the founding member of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Social Enterprises Limited (HKGCSE), Committee Chairman of Social Enterprise Endorsement Scheme (SEE Mark). He is also the Chief Executive of The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong. Mr. Ng has been actively participating in community services. Presently, he is the Chairman of the Social Work Department Advisory Committee of Hong Kong Baptist University, Adviser of the Office of the Ombudsman, Hong Kong, Member of the Post-Release Supervision Board as well as Observer of the Independent Police Complaints Council.

 

Mr. Ng worked in Hong Kong Christian Service as school social worker after graduation in 1984.  Upon his return to Hong Kong after completing a master degree in 1989, Mr. Ng re-joined Hong Kong Christian Service to work in counselling, family education and foster care services. He joined Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong in 1991 and served as officer-in-charge of Ping Shan Halfway House. Half year later, he was appointed the Assistant Director of the agency. In 1999, Mr. Ng joined the Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong as the Support Service Officer, taking charge of various services of the Society including employment development, hostel service, community education and recreation, court social work and a social enterprise Bright Services Co Ltd. In 2003, Mr. Ng was promoted to the post of Business Director, Planning & Development, and was then promoted to become the Acting Chief Executive and Chief Executive of the Society in 2005 and 2006 respectively.

 

Tom Chui, the founder of Inclusive Impact, is a unique individual with international experience in Advertising, Banking, Church Management, Social enterprise and the field of badminton.  Advertising career with clients such as Coca-Cola and Honda, two times national awards winner. Promoted from a teller position to a Private Banking portfolio manager within seven years in HSBC UK, then was headhunted by HSBC China into a Senior management position. Then he dropped his well-paid banking position and worked in a purpose-driven church, called Saddleback. Founded a social enterprise called Inclusive Impact, created employment for many Elites Hong Kong athletes with disabilities. Last but not least, GB Paralympic Badminton coach and International Umpire.

 

 

Ruby has a BA and M. Phil from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and over 10 years of experience in education, youth leadership development, social innovation, non-profit management and philanthropy. She is currently the Senior Program Manager of The D. H. Chen Foundation, a committed practitioner of engaged philanthropy in Hong Kong. She is also the Board Director of Shakespeare4All Ltd, a Hong Kong-based arts learning organization promoting whole-person development through drama and language arts.

Chris is building the youth community around social entrepreneurship with Hult Prize. He managed business strategy at Redspots Creative, focusing on development and fundraising for augmented reality (AR) in entertainment and advertising. Previously he helped domestic large clients grow their digital business performance at Google Hong Kong.

 

Passionate in youth development, Chris led the Harvard HPAIR 2016 Asia Conference as Executive Director, and the Junior Achievement Asia Pacific alumni movement as Regional Coordinator. He obtained a Master of International Business from the University of South Carolina, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (IBCE Program) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Professor Michael John Ferguson joined the School of Accountancy of The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1997. His teaching interests include corporate financial reporting, performance evaluation and control, and management accounting. He has taught in CUHK's world-class EMBA and MBA programmes since 1997. Professor Ferguson was the Director of the Master of Accountancy Programme in CUHK.

Tiantian Zhang co-founded Vigo Technologies, a Silicon Valley-based hardware company behind Vue Smart Glasses, in 2014. Vue raised $2.2M on Kickstarter, making it the highest grossing eyewear campaign of all time. Prior to Vigo Technologies, she founded Three Fellows, a video media company that portrayed the lives of Chinese students in the US that garnered tens of millions of views online as well as partnerships with major Chinese TV stations including CCTV and Phoenix TV. In 2017, Tiantian was honored on the Forbes China 30 under 30 list for her work in hardware. She was invited to meet China’s Premier Li Keqiang as a young entrepreneur in honor of her achievements both in China and abroad. Liang Zhenyu is a member of the “Shenzhen 100-people Think Tank”. He has a business background and receives a further education in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Harvard University. He also has many years of experience in public welfare, social enterprises and CSR.
Liang Zhenyu is the leader of the “Information Accessibility Research Association”. This association is the earliest NGO focusing on the information accessibility in China. Liang also launched “Accessibility Product Alliance” (CAPA) together with Tencent, Alibaba, Baidu, Microsoft (China) to form the first “Information Accessibility Engineer" Team in China.

4 years user and product design research experience. Her first 3 years worked as user research engineer at Microsoft Asian Center for Hardware, taking the responsibility for ensuring premium product experience. They help successfully launch Surface accesorry flagship products like Surface Ergonomic keyboard, Surface Arc Mouse,etc. And she has also joined the experience research project of Hololence 1st generation and Surface Hub 2nd generation in Microsoft Human Factor Lab. Currently,  she is focusing on building user research team and research system at Wesure. Their Joint Research Laboratory for Insurance(CDC&Wesure)lanched an insurance industry research and publish the report. They dramatically increased their industrial influence and provided insight on insurance product design and service design from user perspective.

 

Lynn is the strategy director of One Foundation, overlooking the social innovation project. In October 2015 her team launched an experimental project: ONE Lab, to sponsor NPOs, enterprises and individuals who are dedicated to solve social problems in innovative ways. The project has formed a community of over 7300 practitioners.

 

Prior to that she worked as the director of fund raising, cooperation, operating, and strategic planning and have been the deputy Secretary-general for two years. One Foundation now is the most famous public philanthropy foundation in China. After human being survived trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for them to ask - in what ways does this experience redefine my value and life purpose? Having overcame a 6-year lower limb paralysis and various highs and lows at a young age, Alyssa was inspired to devote herself into social services with a goal to use her life experiences and knowledge to improve life qualities of the underserved. After graduate school, Alyssa began her social career in Africa running an orphanage under extreme resources and environment for 2 years. Alyssa then co-founded a charity in Hong Kong by using CSV approach (Creating Shared Value) to provide all-rounded services to over 1600 under-resourced families everyday by leveraging on excess resources in the community to maximize collective impact.  

 

With her broad experiences on social engineering, fundraising, strategic planning, impact measurement, donor and partnership coverage, consulting, and international experiences, Alyssa was appointed as trailblazer at Green Monday, UNICEF and New World Development to lead social innovation projects.

 

Alyssa received a B.A and M.A in Child Psychology at University of California - Berkeley, and will complete her MBA at Harvard Business School in 2019.

Maggie devotes herself to teaching yoga and mindfulness. She has been a student of yoga since 2006, yoga became the topic of her Anthropology Master thesis as she retired from junior tennis representing Hong Kong. With 500-hour yoga teacher training under her belt, she finds that yoga lays a solid foundation for the mindfulness practice.

 

She has completed courses at the Hong Kong Center for Mindfulness and the Oxford Mindfulness Center in the UK. She is currently taking Mindfulness-Based Stress Reductions (MBSR) Foundations Teacher Training with Dr. Helen Ma, and inspired by the rich, nourishing tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Han

Her family name Lin (連) meanso connect”, same as the Sanskrit word for yoga, yuj. For her, yoga and mindfulness are the art of living, guiding her to better connect with the body and mind, with others, with the world.

 

Teaching with a playful and dynamic approach, she has been featured in documentary Creativity Is, Hong Kong Connections《鏗鏘集》, and is an advisor for Design Trust Futures Studio. She recently taught at educational institutes such as The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong. She frequently collaborates with wellness / lifestyle organisations such as lululemon, Sino Club, Gold Coast Hotel, newlife330 (New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association), and with arts and cultural organisations including M+ (West Kowloon Cultural District) and Hong Kong Arts Center.

 

Previously, she worked in the United Nations and non-profit sector. She believes that awareness and change from the personal level, together, is an ingredient for one of the most powerful social shifts in the world.
